Monterey Kayaking on Elkhorn SloughPack yourself a picnic and some warm clothes and head down with your family and friends to the Monterey Bay town of Moss Landing. An hour out on the Bay will help you relax, especially after the workout you'll get on your arms. You'll see a ton of wildlife including migratory birds, harbor seals and sea otters.

Moss Landing is a quaint, historic fishing village, located at the mouth of Elkhorn Slough, one of the last remaining coastal wetland reserves in California. This charming, eclectic seaport is the gateway to the Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve, California's second largest marine wetland and one of only twenty such areas in the nation.

Rent a kayak at Monterey Bay Kayaks and take your own tour, or opt for one of their standard tours.
